Did you know that paid holiday entitlement is a statutory legal right for workers in the UK? Under the Working Time Regulations 1998, full-time employees are entitled to 5.6 weeks’ paid holiday per year – that’s 28 days, which can include public holidays.
Employers must ensure staff take their holidays, and failure to comply can result in tribunal claims and reputational damage.
