💷 £80,000 fine for firm after worker fell from ladder
A horticultural company was fined after a worker sustained serious injuries when a ladder collapsed during irrigation work.
The investigation revealed that the equipment used was unsafe and not properly inspected.
🔥 Unregistered gas installer sentenced
An unregistered gas engineer received a 12-month community order and 240 hours of unpaid work after illegal gas work caused a gas leak.
This case serves as a reminder of the dangers of unqualified individuals carrying out regulated work.

HSE found inadequate segregation between pedestrians and site vehicles.
🪜 Two companies fined £95,000 after worker falls through fragile rooflight
Two firms were fined a combined £95,000 after a worker fell through a fragile rooflight during over-cladding work, impaling his leg.
The companies failed to implement adequate fall prevention measures.
